Company Description
Solar Europe is a Wholesale business that imports and sells Inverters, Batteries, Solar Panels, Switchgear, Cabling, Mounting Systems and related products to Installers, Resellers, Wholesalers and the public of Southern Africa and neighbouring countries. Solar Europe provides several services in partnership with third-party service providers. These services include Inverter and Battery repairs, Battery recharge service, Installations, Site inspections, Certificate Of Compliance, Product training, Financing and local, national and international deliveries.
Solar Europe is a physical business based in Pretoria, South Africa consisting of Sales Offices, Warehouses and with an online retail portal. The online retail portal is managed and operated by Solar Europe. The physical address of Solar Europe is 541 Lavender Road, Onderstepoort, Pretoria, 0110, South Africa.
Quotation Validity
Official Quotations are valid for a period of 24 Hours or as long as stock lasts. Stock levels and pricing advertised are subject to change without prior notice. Solar Europe recommends confirming pricing and stock availability with your sales consultant for all quotations older than 24 hours before effecting payment.
Payment
Solar Europe accepts payments made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Debit Card and Credit Card. EFT payment reference must be the Solar Europe Quotation number. Payments made by EFT must first reflect in Solar Europe’s bank account before any goods will be released. Customers who do not hold banking accounts with First National Bank must ensure that their EFT payments are made with the immediate clearing option of their respective banking institution. Due to the rise of online payment fraud, Solar Europe will not release goods to any client or third-party service provider with only a proof of payment.
The online retail portal does not process Debit Cards or Credit Cards. Card payments can be made in-store at Solar Europe.
Solar Europe’s Banking Details are reflected on the bottom left hand corner of all generated quotations. Solar Europe will provide, on request, a Bank generated verification of banking details.
Quotations and Invoices generated by Solar Europe are sent by an Encrypted Email Service hosted by Intuit Quick Books. The security utilised is 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology and is DigiCert certified. Solar Europe can however not guarantee that email messages cannot be intercepted and modified at the recipients end. Solar Europe recommends that clients confirm our Banking Details by calling into our offices.
Solar Europe will not be held liable for any financial losses or damages arising from any email messages that may be intercepted and modified once sent by Intuit Quick Books Servers, which may lead to clients transferring funds into fraudulent bank accounts. It is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure that payments are made to the correct bank account.
Proof of payment must be sent to info@solar-europe.co.za to avoid delays in order processing.
Delivery & Collection Policy
Solar Europe offers local, national and international delivery in partnership with third-party service providers. This delivery service is available at an additional cost. Deliveries or collections by any third-party service providers, whether arranged for by Solar Europe or the client, are entirely at the client’s own risk. Solar Europe will in no way accept any responsibility or liability; directly, indirectly or consequentially; for any Damages, Losses, Theft or Delays.
Delivery times can only be estimated due to factors beyond the control of Solar Europe, such as traffic, load shedding, breakdown etc.
Third-party service providers collecting goods at Solar Europe on behalf of the client must ensure that they use a Solar Europe Quotation Number or Invoice Number as a reference for the collection. Goods will not be released to any third-party service provider without this information.
Goods purchased from Solar Europe can also be collected in person at our warehouse.
Return, Refund & Exchange Policy (Excluding Warranty Claims)
The provision of goods and services by Solar Europe is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, the online retail portal will display an out of stock notice.
Electrical goods or components purchased from Solar Europe, whether in person or online, cannot be returned for a refund or store credit. The decision to accept returned electrical goods or components will be at the sole discretion of the Management of Solar Europe and will be subject to an administration fee of 15% which will be deducted from the refund or store credit total. Any collection or delivery costs incurred in returning electrical goods or components from the client to Solar Europe will be deducted from the refund or store credit total. Should a refund be approved, the payment will be processed within 7 working days. Special order items purchased from Solar Europe cannot be returned for a refund or store credit. Solar Europe does not offer a product exchange or swap out service for returned electrical goods or components.
Store credit cannot be exchanged for an EFT payment. The decision to exchange a store credit for an EFT payment will be at the sole discretion of the Management of Solar Europe.
